The City of Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (OIRA) seeks applications from nonprofit organizations to provide direct financial assistance to immigrants and refugees who live, work or go to school in the city of Seattle and have been the victim of racially motivated or identity-based harm.

Purpose and Background
The City of Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs is seeking to contract with nonprofit organizations to provide direct financial assistance to immigrants and refugees, including Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) communities, who have been impacted by hate crime or other forms of targeted violence.
Who Should Apply?
Eligible applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Be a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)3 status or have a fiscal sponsor with a 501(c)3 status.
- Serve immigrant and refugee communities who live, work or study in Seattle
Contracts and Funds Available
One time funding opportunity: $150,000
Funding period: May 2024 to Dec 31, 2024.
Submission Instructions
Proposals are due to the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs by 5:00 PM (PT) on May 6, 2024.
