OIRA Announces Request for Proposals for Immigrant Safety & Access Network

The City of Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs (OIRA) seeks applications from nonprofit organizations to provide direct financial assistance to immigrants and refugees who live, work or go to school in the city of Seattle and who are impacted by gun violence and sudden, unnatural, or unexpected death.

On April 18th, 2024, from 9:00 am-10:30 am, OIRA held a virtual information session on Zoom for interested organizations to ask questions about the RFP process and about the ISAN program. Responses to Questions/ Inquiries

Below are the responses to questions raised about the Immigrant Safety and Access Network 2024 RFP.

Purpose and Background

The City of Seattle Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs is seeking to contract with nonprofit organizations to provide direct financial assistance to immigrants and refugees who are impacted by gun violence, and sudden, unnatural, and unexpected death.  

Who Should Apply? 

Eligible applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications: 

  • Be a nonprofit organization with a 501(c)3 status or have a fiscal sponsor with a 501(c)3 status. 
  • Have an office(s) located within Seattle.  

Contracts and Funds Available 

Total anticipated funds available: $41,000 maximum award per organization.  

Funding period: May 2024 to May 2025. 

Contract period: Yearly   

Submission Instructions 

Proposals are due to the Office of Immigrant and Refugee Affairs by 5:00 PM (PT) on May 6, 2024
