On Monday evening, Trump tweeted that U.S. immigration enforcement agents are planning to make mass arrests “next week” targeting migrant parents and children across the U.S.
We hope that this is yet another empty threat from a president who too often prefers pandering to the extremist anti-immigrant views of some Americans. However, we do also recognize that no matter who is president, it is important for residents to look out for and check in on each other and to share Know Your Immigrant Rights information.
We have compiled a list of various translated Know Your Rights informational handouts and pamphlets here:
Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC)
(Arabic) العَرَبِيَّة – 中文(简) (Chinese) – Tagalog (Filipino) – 한국어 (Korean) – русский (Russian) – Español (Spanish) – Tiếng Việt (Vietnamese)
Northwest Immigrant Rights Project (NWIRP)

Concerned residents can print these out, distribute to neighbors and post conspicuously. Please consider posting these to any forums or online spaces that are in languages other than English.
And if you do suspect that an immigration enforcement activity is happening, instead of quickly posting unsubstantiated actions online, thus contributing to the overall fear in communities, many advocates recommend first calling the Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network Reporting Hotline: 1-844-RAID-REP (1-844-724-3737).
The hotline runs 7-days-a-week, from 6:00 AM to 9:00 PM and allows people to report when loved ones or friends have been detained by immigration agents or other instances of problematic behavior conduct by immigration officials.
TO REPORT IMMIGRATION ENFORCEMENT ACTIVITY ANYWHERE IN WASHINGTON, DIAL: 1-844-RAID-REP (1-844-724-3737).
